The Official Chris Pierson Fan Site
Hello and Welcome to the Official Chris Pierson Fansite. Here you will find everything you need to know about the man and his music.
You may recognize Chris Pierson's name from the CBS hit show Rockstar Supernova. "The chance of a lifetime was offered to me and I took it, Rockstar Supernova was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had." Chris was a member of the final 15 hopefuls that were exposed to millions each week performing cover songs on national television. "Another lesson learned," Chris says, "I am a singer/songwriter not a cover singer. My strength lies in my melodies and story teller type of songs".
In late 2006, Chris found himself standing on familiar ground. Chris as a solo artist...again. Having dissolved his band "Streetlight Syndrome" after their debut EP, and several Southeast Shows, Chris found himself once again placing all bets on his belief in his straight ahead songwriting. "It is rock" says a determined Pierson, "I learned a lot from playing in Streetlight, the guys were all veterans of the Atlanta music scene, and they had more experience than I did. Now, I see that I need to play straight ahead rock, no trends involved."
At 27, Pierson is a veteran musician with Rockstar good looks and a clear understanding of the work ethic it takes to succeed commercially. Tens of thousands of fans have supported Chris, and continue to do so as he embarks on a new journey with his new band, Kent Aberle on Drums, Jake Kitchen on Bass and George Marlow on Lead Guitar. In 2007 the band recorded the EP "The Height Of Paranoia", completed 2 midwest tours with rave reviews, and gained a legion of fans young and old often traveling from venue to venue supporting the band.
Chris and the band are now looking forward to what lies ahead in 2008. They will be recording 3 new songs with high profile producers in early 2008 hoping to release them in the spring. Having already generated a huge buzz within the industry and a world wide audience, these guys are out to do it the right way. "Staying power" is what makes a band iconic and these guys have every ounce of what it takes to be timeless.
